Layout "Always Happy"

Hello Crafty Friends,

I'm with you today with my mixed media Layout using the beautiful chalk paints and Decoupage papers from Expressions Craft.
I started with a plain white cardstock from Expressions craft and adhered some decoupage sheet, which I fussy cut to get some desired designs, on it to get a colorful background for my LO.
For some interesting texture, I used stamps and texture paste and applied through expressions craft stencil. Then I applied some chalk paints as well as some sprinkle mist to color my background.
Then I attached the photo and decorated the LO with some flowers, deco stones and sentiments.

I made a video tutorial for the same, but it was getting dark and I had to stop midway. But I hope u'll enjoy the process here

Madhubani Card for Make My Monday

Hello Friends,

Today I'm at Make My Monday Challenge Blog and the theme for this fortnight is "Oriental"
Such a beautiful theme and as India is also in the Eastern part of the globe, I made a card on one of the India's popular folk art "Madhubani"
India is so rich in folk art and there are so many art forms to choose. Recently I painted a bag with madhubani also, so thought to make it on paper. Normally, in this art form, no gaps are there and the outlines are double lined. But I chose to leave some gaps.

I drew this with a black marker on this watercolor paper and then filled the colors with immix spray paints.

I hope you like it.
Thank you for visiting.

GDT Post for Wyzwanie

Hello Friends,

Today I made a Layout for my GDT post at Wyzwania Nie-Kartkowe ...
I was a winner of the May Challenge Flowering Chestnuts
I made this  Layout on Theme inspired by the current challenges at Mixed Media & Art and Scraps n Pieces  and tried to make the background as the waves of the sea and the photo of playing in water.
I tore the paper and layered them one on another creating the separation of waves and added cheesecloth for depth and texture.

Then I created some texture around my photo with the help of stencil and texture paste, cheesecloth and stamping.

I added a lot of sea shells around the photo and here and there. also embellished with Art stones and flowers.

Thank you for visiting...

Altered Frame for Expressions Craft

Hello Crafty Friends,

Today and I'm back with my inspiration project for this month's ongoing challenge which you can find here.
Thank you so much everyone who participated in our last challenge. we were happy to see all the entries and the winner will soon be announced on the blog.

This month the challenge theme is pretty simple and exciting "Chalk Paints". These are matt acrylic colors and can be used on various surfaces where we want a matt look. Recently they are getting much attention and Expressions Craft has launched a vibrant range of colors in this segment. I got a few of them in my DT kit and am so happy to use them all through the month and inspire you all.

I altered this Chipboard Scallop frame which comes in 3 sizes in one pack with the inner oval chipboard cut out also. I used the larger one here which  is 17.5cms in length and 7 cms wide and the inner part helped me make the background of the project. This is so good to hold your beautiful photographs but I thought to turn it into a home decor and used lots of flowers, textures and chippies to change the look.

Hope you like my project. Do participate in the challenge to win exciting goodies.

Supplies Used:
Expressions Craft Scallop Chipboard Frame

Expressions Craft Chipboard embellishment Swirls
Expressions Craft Chipboard embellishment Sentiment
