Stencil Stories

Hello Crafty Friends,

Today I have made a card for Make My Monday Challenge blog and the theme for this fortnight is "Stencil Stories"...
I love stencils but instead of making some mixed media stuff I decided to go Clean & Simple this time. So I created this card using the stencil from Craftangles and some Distress ink shades. Once my background is ready I cut it into my desired size and adhered on a white card base. Finally I added a chipboard sentiment and some sequins to complete the look.

Hope you like my card. Do not forget to enter our challenge and check out fabulous DT inspirations...

Mirror Image- New York

Hello Crafty Friends,

We have a theme "New York" in Make My Monday Challenge Blog and I just couldn't figure out what to make for this challenge though there were plenty of options. I just got this image of New York from google and drew it on a piece of  water colored cardstock.
I thought it was looking a bit boring and then I just colored this base cardstock with Distress inks and sprayed a little white paint over it to get a night sky and then I cut out the design I made on the other and piece and glued it upside down as I loved the colors down there. But that made the Statue of liberty the other way round.
So I named it mirror image.

Hope you like it and do not forget to enter our challenge here

Madhubani Card for Make My Monday

Hello Friends,

Today I'm at Make My Monday Challenge Blog and the theme for this fortnight is "Oriental"
Such a beautiful theme and as India is also in the Eastern part of the globe, I made a card on one of the India's popular folk art "Madhubani"
India is so rich in folk art and there are so many art forms to choose. Recently I painted a bag with madhubani also, so thought to make it on paper. Normally, in this art form, no gaps are there and the outlines are double lined. But I chose to leave some gaps.

I drew this with a black marker on this watercolor paper and then filled the colors with immix spray paints.

I hope you like it.
Thank you for visiting.

Triple Easel Circle Card for MMM Challenge

Hello Dear People,

Today I'm at Make My Monday Challenge Blog and the theme for the challenge is Adding Circles (At least 3 of them) in your project. So I made a Triple Easel card which is circular in Shape.

I'm enjoying card making a lot these days. Stamping still remains a taboo and am still trying to get it right. But I'm not in a hurry and just enjoying whatever challenges are coming my way. Being in the design Teams, I'm learning a lot of discipline from my teamies. Still learning and want to experiment more...

So, here's my Card...

And this is how it looks when closed. Since it's the month of February, I tried to give it a Valentine look. The Gorgeous Papers are from Papericious Blush Pack. All Embellishments are hand cut from the same pack.

Hope You like my card. Do participate in the challenge and visit the blog to catch more gorgeous DT Inspirations.
