Shadow Box Layout for Mixed Media Academy

Hello Friends

Yesterday was my Birthday and this month we are celebrating our first Birthday at Mixed Media Academy Challenge. So it's a double celebration for me.
Our theme this month was to create something based on the CELEBRATION and Anything Goes
You can create something inspired by the theme, or if you are celebrating a festival or celebrating love or celebrating your life and yourself...
I love to celebrate my life and I enjoy my Birthday and we also celebrate Valentine's Day this month. I am a full on romantic person and I love to make gifts for my Husband and for V Day and for myself on my Birthday.
The mood board at MMA is very sparkly and I simply loved the colours so I created a shadow box layout Celebrating Life and Love...

I made this Shadow box from a 12*12 white cardstock and created some texture using flourish stencil and texture paste on the borders and on the layout.  The base paper is from Heartfelt Creations and all background layers are made from the same paper pack.I used a lot of fussy cutting elements from Mintay and Flowers from our sponsor this month Crafters Emporio.
I also used a doily, laces, sequins, art stones, chipboards, Clear and white gesso here.

Some more  close ups of the project...

Shabby Altered Jewelry Box

Hello Crafty Friends,

A very good morning to all of you. I'm Priya again with a photo inspiration post. This time I transformed a boring box into an interesting shabby chic jewelry box.

The box I used is a drawer box and is beautiful inside. I just cut some pattern paper according to the dimensions and glued on it. So, here's the box I altered...

I cut the pattern papers according to desired measurements, distresssed the edges and glued on all sides of the box. Then I adhered some pearl string and rhinestone string on the top cover of the box. also some strings on the front opening of it. Then I adhered a beautiful leaf pattern lace on the top cover and attached a mandala die cut, some flowers, pearl stickers, twines and some more lace to decorate it.

Supplies Used:

Cardboard Box
Martha Stewart Score Board
Guillotine Paper Trimmer
Scissors
Eno greeting Pattern Paper
Papericious Lace
Twines
Tacky Glue
Distress Ink
Double sided Foam Tape
Chipboards
Flowers
Paper Flowers
Diecut
Pearl String
Rhinestone String
Pearl Stickers

Hope you are inspired.
