Layout- Waste no more Time

Hello Crafty Friends...
I created this Layout for 3 Quarter Designs using their Modern Man Collection Pack.

Here is the beautiful pack

I tore one paper and glued it on a white cardstock. Created texture using stencils and texture paste. Stamped here and there to create more interest. Cut the paper into circles and layered them along with elements from the pack. Used some chipboards and water colour to finish it.

Shadow Box Layout for Mixed Media Academy

Hello Friends

Yesterday was my Birthday and this month we are celebrating our first Birthday at Mixed Media Academy Challenge. So it's a double celebration for me.
Our theme this month was to create something based on the CELEBRATION and Anything Goes
You can create something inspired by the theme, or if you are celebrating a festival or celebrating love or celebrating your life and yourself...
I love to celebrate my life and I enjoy my Birthday and we also celebrate Valentine's Day this month. I am a full on romantic person and I love to make gifts for my Husband and for V Day and for myself on my Birthday.
The mood board at MMA is very sparkly and I simply loved the colours so I created a shadow box layout Celebrating Life and Love...

I made this Shadow box from a 12*12 white cardstock and created some texture using flourish stencil and texture paste on the borders and on the layout.  The base paper is from Heartfelt Creations and all background layers are made from the same paper pack.I used a lot of fussy cutting elements from Mintay and Flowers from our sponsor this month Crafters Emporio.
I also used a doily, laces, sequins, art stones, chipboards, Clear and white gesso here.

New Beginning - Mixed Media Layout

Hello Crafty Friends...

I have a beautiful Layout to share with you today which I made for Mixed Media Academy Challenge . January is the first month of the year and it marks a new beginning, new hopes, new promises... And the challenge is to take inspiration from the quote and the colour palette and make something inspiring.

For me everyday is a new beginning. If you start your day with positivity and a bright smile, everything looks so goos and inspiring. And the morning sun brings so much energy and power pushing all darkness behind it spreads light and happiness in our lives.

Here is the cheerful and bright moodboard of the month

I took inspiration from the morning sun and the photo in the mood board and I used Yellow, grey and a hint of pink in my project. And as the quote in the mood board says, New Beginning is truly the most powerful as when you begin something new, you give your whole heart to it and do your best to make it happen.

I used Lindy's Spray paints Summer lovin sun- flat fabio and Screamin Banshee black here. Texture paste, Flowers, Stencil, Craft palettes and chipboards from our sponsor this month Little Birdie Crafts
You can check their products here Shop

Hope you like my project and do not forget to participate in the challenge this month. We have some exciting prizes from our sponsor for the winner.

Layout for More Than Words

Hello Crafty Friends,

I have a Layout to share today which is my DT project for More Than Words Challenges

Our Main Challenge is based on a word inspiration and a creative challenge.

Word Inspiration - COSTUME
Creative Challenge - BLACK BACKGROUND

What does the word COSTUME inspire you to create?
You can choose to use the actual word somewhere on your project
or simply be inspired by it. Please explain in your blog post
how it inspired you if it isn't obvious in your work.

We want to see your dark and mysterious side by using
a BLACK BACKGROUND on your project. Whether your costume
is a Halloween outfit, a wedding dress or a work uniform,
the theme is up to you, but your background must be black!
I love COSTUMES with lots of drama like heavy warrior suits or big head gears. On this page I used a photo depicting my favorite kind of costume. BLACK BACKGROUNDS are great to work with. Everything you add to it just pops up!

I used gorgeous prima flowers, Lindy's Magicals and icraft Stencils to create the background.
Added Chipboards and flowers, sequins and coir for more interest.

Hope you like my project. Do not forget to enter our challenge this month to win fabulous prizes.
